Not Rio Ferdinand.

There has been an almighty furore in the press in recent weeks about John Terry’s affair with fellow England ’star’ Wayne Bridge’s ex-mrs.

So early 2010,  an injunction was imposed by a High Court judge preventing the media from reporting that John had had a four-month affair in late 2009 with saucy Vanessa Perroncel.  The injunction was lifted a week later, and the British media — especially the fucking tabloid press — covered it in great detail in the days following. Capello then dropped Terry from the England captaincy, replacing him with Rio Bastard Ferdinand!

That’s mental?!

First of all I don’t blame John, Vanessa Perroncel is fit as. I blame the media. We have a world cup coming soon and for the first time in a pretty long time we have a damn good chance of going far in it. The English game has never been so competative and it’s coming through into the England 1st team who have rolled over nearly all opponents in comfortable style. But there are still signs of weakness, there are a number of young inexperienced players in the squad now and they need a strong influential captain to steer them through the Cup. That man is not Rio Ferdinand.

Rio hasn’t been fit since before England and France separated due to continental drift. He has lost all respect due to plain stupid actions on and off the pitch. If he’d told me to breath I’d question it. If Rio can’t get club football at the moment why the fuck is he commanding from the bench for England?

If I can’t have John Terry we need a hard working player who has ability and passion for his Country. Players like Rooney, Lampard or even Milner who has been outstanding recently for England and for Villa. With Ashley Cole now gone Capello is begging the league managers to ease off the duties of the players going to S.A. I don’t blame him. Look what happened with Rooney last time?

We can win this. It’s coming home but not in the hands of Rio Ferdinand. Bring back John Terry.
